====== 2019 ======
Group
- We sang our hearts out at the District Carol Service at St Cuthbert's Church in Lytham
- We attended the lovely Christingle Service at St Michael's Church
- We ran our hot-food stand again at the Kirkham Christmas Lights Switch-on
- We attended the Remembrance Day Parade in Kirkham
- We had a very loud trip through the Blackpool Illuminations and had a sing-song on the bus
- We had a good turnout for our Maintenance Day
- Our members took part in the Kirkham Club Day walk
- A very enjoyable, fun and challenging time was had by all at our Group Family Camp at Waddecar, near Beacon Fell, from Friday 24 to Monday 27 May
- We had a good attendance for the St George's Day afternoon at District HQ, St Annes
Beavers
- New leaders, Emma and Claire, officially joined our Group and were presented with their 2nd Kirkham neckers
- Had an interesting evening with a visitor from the Royal Air Force
- Had an exciting time at Wesham Fire Station hosing everywhere down
- Hiked around Beacon Fell on the Fylde District's Jamboree On The Trail (JOTT) event
- Most had a good Hut Camp at our hut
- Made bug houses
- Had a visit by a Paramedic
- Celebrated St David's Day
- Visited a Hindu Temple
- Enjoyed an action-packed Joint Beaver - Cub Winter Camp at District HQ, St Annes
Cubs

Over the last six months Cubs have been as busy as ever. Since the start of term we have concentrated on Scouting Skills, including fire lighting, using axes and saws, knots etc. We had an evening at HQ enjoying Climbing, Archery and Shooting. We have had a Night Hike and Hot Dogs, Bonfire Party, Christmas Craft. We attended the Neverest Camp, Remembrance Parade, Christingle, District Carol Service.
Lots of badges were gained and we will shortly have some Silver Award Presentations to make. - Had an action-packed 'Neverest' District Cub/Scout weekend camp at District HQ, St Annes
- Went kayaking on the Lancaster Canal
- Had a great Camp at Mowbreck in dry weather and had the site to themselves
- Have started the Environmental Conservation and the Gardener activity badges
- Completed the Astronomer Badge
- Increased their Disability Awareness
- Sang their hearts out at our Campfire and Sketches evening
- Enjoyed an action-packed Joint Beaver - Cub Winter Camp at District HQ, St Annes
Scouts
- We had an adventurous Older Scouts Weekend in the Lake District, staying at Great Tower Scout Activity Centre
- Had an action-packed 'Neverest' District Cub/Scout weekend camp at District HQ, St Annes
- Had a full fun-packed short break (4 nights / 5 days) of activity and adventure on the Isle of Man
- Went kayaking on the Lancaster Canal
- Slept over at the hut after the Maintenance Day
- Did cycle maintenance prior to a cycle ride to Bonds
- Practised camp skills
- Held a First Aid evening
- Younger Scouts enjoyed a District Camp
- A team practised for, and competed in, the Bowlander hiking competition
- Held a Survival Skills night
- Undertook a pioneering challenge
- Held a 'Christmas' camp
